Many congratulations to the magnificent haul of gold medals by Chris Hoy. Yes he's in the British team but this man is someone of whom all Scotland should be proud. So well done Chris, what a performance and what an athlete you are.

I can imagine the reception for this Olympian when he is rightly feted on his return to Edinburgh.
