It seems it is not just Scotland that is unimpressed by the BBC's performance! The BBC is facing an uphill battle to maintain support for the licence fee, according to a new survey that shows almost half the population do not find it value for money. http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2008/aug/18/bbc.television3
Any guesses on when it will be funded in another way? Or any suggestions on how it should be funded?

It will be funded from general taxation. We DO NOT want to lose this asset! But the Licence Fee hits those less able to afford it. A Block Grant would solve the problem..and not cause any Government bias!

Well...no more than usual! Last year the Gov tried to cut the finance to the minimum! And they did!

So no change there then!
