Unusual one for me but I'd run out of books for the holiday and my Mum said it was good.
It's the true story of Tracy Kirby, who was a well-known page 3 girl in the 80's.
It's one of those books that you read in a day.
I struggled through the first few chapters and was about to chuck it in the bin! My initial reaction was that I couldn't believe the woman could be so bloody stupid, time after time. As I got into the second half of the book, It describes how she ended up on remand, for almost two years, in Holloway, facing a possible 18yr sentence. Remind me never to get banged up there! It sounded horrific. I actually cried a couple of times. She had a bloody hard life. I can't help but think though, that she was so stupid and naive that she brought a lot of it on herself. I still felt sorry for her for all that she went through. She wasn't a bad person.
