Thought I'd say hi as I'm a newbie here. I found out about the site through The Herald. I was a bit of a lurker there rather than a poster. I found that it, along with many forums, often have an element that turn to personal abuse or such like. How great it was to look at this forum and see the high standard of posters - both for talking about the subject rather that looking to abuse people and for the quality of the writing. (I just hope any contributions I make are up to it!)

It's good to hear differing opinions on the forum. There's always someone who has thought of something that hasn't occurred to me and I like to think I'm open to changing/modifying my opinion on things. In saying that, I'm a nationalist and I can't really imagine anyone convincing me to be a unionist!
