Okay so aside from independence what are their policies?
How will they regenerate Scotland?
After the horlicks that Labour (old & new) and the Tories made of it?
I'm genuinely curious but deeply cynical.
I'm afraid they'll just be Tories light with Scottish accents.
The SNP is a left of centre party. If you want to know the SNP's policies then why not visit
www.snp.org There you can download copies of their last manifestos for Holyrood, Westminster and Europe. Also there are details of what the SNP is doing in government etc.
I think that the point for many people who support the SNP is that they want the Scottish people to make their own decisions about their future. The unionists love to peddle the myth that the SNP are tartan tories and that you would have this government for ever more, post independence. Once independence is achieved, the SNP will have to set out their stall just like all the other parties. No doubt they will still be left of centre but what will be the important thing at this stage is that for the first time ever, Scotland will have a truly national government of their choosing.
