Hi Jaimekens

We had other confirmation yesterday that house prices here have gone up by 200% in the last ten years.

You folks are clearly delusional. Monetary policies defeated inflation in the 80's. I distinctly remember Maggie Thatcher and Milton Friedman telling me so. Therefore, despite evidence to the contrary, you must be wrong.

Hey - wait a minute - what's this?

But didn't we do this to avoid that?

We must remember the fundamentals?

Once upon a time ...

when the oil price started to rise, the man in the White Hoose rang up his Saudi pals and asked them to open up the valve a bit. The oil flowed and the price would drop. Now the valve is fully open. The man in the Kremlin has some in reserve but although he may be on the Xmas list, he isn't a bosom buddy. Then there are the Chinese and Indians who have developed an insatiable appetite for the stuff.

We are already at the point on the graph where oil production, on the way down, is crossing demand, on the way up. The entire new finds in 2006 were swallowed up by the increase in demand that same year from China.

Get used to higher oil prices. They can only go higher.

The price of oil will only go up until there isn't any more oil, and then we won't have to worry about it. Methinks, mehopes, I see tall-masted sailing ships along with horses and wagons on the far horizons. With luck, they'll only get closer.

Oil will be old hat soon. The new commodities will be rice, maize and other cereals. Next will be water, then land shortage as oceans rise. We have alot to look forward to.

Can anyone tell me why in a future of food shortages, loss of land due to oceans rising, and global drought the political elite would be encouraging more immigration, and advocating privatization of water resources?

Oooh, Oooh, I know, Scunnert!

because they only smoked it..and they didnt inhail.

Meanwhile.. i dont know how long we will be holdin out if all this is to come to pass. Honestly. Our country is so out of whack-it no longer is workin for us.. and everythin is as$-backwards. I shoulda coulda, woulda.. went on solar and windpower way back when... and played the 'game' smart... but..

Orkney.. i like your idea about the horse n buggy.. and ive entertained the same thoughts.. cept one prob...
is there enough..horses... and buggies.. to fill the need? Ive figured.. that once everyone jumps THAT band wagon.. we're toast. And here people are just trying to save them from slaughter houses... and... protect them. I love horses.. and how did we get into this event where we are headed backwards from where we started?

At this point... i blame walfart for their shadie practices. they got everyone in a panty wod trying to create havoc on our system.. well.. its all come to pass and now we are facing the consequences. And... the oil is creating their own.. shiftie ness.. dont forget...the housing..and the banks and the credit sharks.. and the credit scale jokes that whack ya at the knees.. and the social security.. that really isnt there.. and the 401's that promise to be there.. but very well may NOT be... dont go there about food shortages when...we already have a slight food shortage with the oil thang.. and the droughts.. and the floods.. and the infestations...dont forget the wild fires and the loss of acres.. oy... problem is.. they are all creating a muck at the same d@mn time!!!!!

Im trying to see the good.. and pray for the best.. and.. each day.. it is definitely a test.

Im sure hopin we can get a leader who... is 'hello' here... and understands... ummmm... reality.

'gas is THAT high?!'

But... i dont know ... if none of them actually gets out thar and lives it.. they really WONT know what we are dealing with.. and to wrap their brains around our truthes.. may be a lil difficult!!!!!!!!!

i feel like a riderless cart. it really IS turnin to the wild west. freedom from accountability.. responsibility... freedom to be greedie as hell.. and trample the lil guys who get in yer path!!!!! Even hollywood can sit there and make up their very own laws against the people.. and all our core morals have gone into the wastebasket. Whiney excuses have won the round table of lawsuits... and have turned our country @ss backwards...and over 200,000 babies were executed by the clinics.

someone.. pinch me... i know i'm dreamin.

Im waitn on Jim Lowe to pipe in...

We need some solutions RIGHT NOW. If oil is goin up creek... how will we be heating our homes and stay warm these next winters... how will our people get to work... the welfare can only carry so much on the dole... and people are really strugglin. I hate being a slave to these creeps.

Okay...now im really sweatn bullets.
vacation gas?! hello people.. we still need to get to work!!!!
(and eat)

we're dandelion pickn ...weeds are still free in this country... they make a tasty salad with bacon.. and sauteed tops...even poorman's food is up exorbantly. I was shocked by the sticker prices.

seriously, im not sure where we are headed.. but up creek. Pray for us. I'll pray for you all too! We're suppose to vote in a few days.. and i dont know if there is ANYBODY who can fix this.
It will probably be cheaper if hubby stays with a friend in the city than to commute each day. Sure doesnt sound hopeful for around the home. (stay positive jaimekens..) Im sure we can weather this.. somehow.
He mentioned a motorcycle... OH yes, that will help... when i recieve his death benefits..

Im just worried.. these inflations are hard hit on an income that doesnt raise with it. Im very worried about our elderly, especially come the winter.. my (elderly)neighbor is in the middle of a toss of whether to move out of her home of over 40 years.. and try to co- live with others..(i give her food to get by of bits that are left over in the pot..) she is confused and doesnt know what she will be doing... and.. we have debated our future living arrangements too. the fluxes are just too much at the present time.

www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2008-07-01-...own-gas_N.htm?csp=34

this just rubs the surface of what is going on. But.. gives ya an idea.

For our fuel.. due to my hubs commute..
almost $500 a month... if I dont need to make a trip or two to the city. Its.. more than our rent! Im very worried.
I see our loved ones around us struggle big time... Eating healthy?! Not!!! My sis in law confessed they were tryin to get by off of balogna sandwiches because its dirt cheap. She needs a dryer.. and AC is out of the question.. Shes hangin her clothes.. and.. caint afford to fix the repairs round the home.. theres a hole in the floor..and my daughter stepped through it I told her i'd get her a piece of plywood until it can be patched.. needless to say the whole floor needs ripped up.. but.. they are livin on meager wages. And this fuel thing is chokin us all! Weve been lookin at homes near his work(that are actually out of our price range...the closer we get)

..and people that ive grown up with for years.. and family.. have been tryin to sell their homes and move closer to their work that just sucks. And.. the values have dropped considerably.
The kicker.. wages STILL arent budgin.. round here... delivery prices are shocking.. More and more people are getting into money troubles with whomever they owe to.. and more and more businesses are clamping down on the people... its sad. The medical community have become.. very snotty and cost a fortune. still more foreclosures and more theft is up like crazy! Drive offs.. gas thiefs on residential properties.. its like.. chaos is insueing.. Ive definitely noticed the change in our communities. Ive been trying to work extra,extra.. to pay for the fuel to get HIM to work. its nuts. I need a third job. But.. Im slowin down.

I still worry bout the elderly. Their fixed incomes CANNOT support this. People are facing huge choices.. Pay the electric..buy food,.. pay for fuel for the doctors.. or buy the meds...
Its sad.

I wondered a few years back.. why we couldnt even afford trash pickup.. or a phone. or the tv for that matter.. we've been getn by without. Hubby is very pissed!!!
He's willin to live without a lotta thangs.. but when you take away the football or the basketball..He gets a bit testie.. Im tryin to sock back a few extra dollars for school.. books, tuition..lunches, preschool..endless school supplies.. gym shoes.. and birthdays.. all of them fall together.. and... xmas if i can at the moment..its a pipedream. whatever we can we are tryn to pinch back some.. not to mention the countless fundraisers that the schools will make you feel sorry for.. because THEIR budgets have been hit too...
way things have been.. we're gonna have to totally rethink our life. A move may be in the future.. because..we are eating our gas. Its funny how.. fuel is so high.. and it takes a CONSIDERABLE amount of fuel.. to farm our lands and feed the world.. I sure hope we can keep up. I saw somethin disturbing crossin over Ohia.. miles and miles...and miles.. of land that was..mostly barren. Barren fields round this time of year?! Knee high by the forth of july... but those lands..hadnt been even tilled yet.. and.. they were definitely farm lands.. weeded over. My stomach turned.. I crossed through the entire state.. I could sense somethin taint right. oh and the fact that walfart gets their produce mostly from the other country...sellin out our own farmers. dont go there bout the recalls on our food! I grow ma own. as much as we can. dont know bout you guys.. but.. the $h!t has Hit the fan!

our entire way of life has been turned inside out... what da hell is goin on...
