Nobody.

It's sometimes said that an indicator of how civilised a society is, is the way we treat our animals. I wonder if there's some corollary in terms of how we pay our entertainers. Made-up "celebrities" can "earn" in a week what we pay our teachers and nurses in a year.

Not to mention quite a few senior executives, whose astronomical salaries are also calculated on the basis of a 'going rate' that seems to bear little relationship to actual performance.
