I hope the lad does make a swift recovery, man that was horrible to see!
I agree, and the guy that did it should face more than a red card. That was one of the most cynical tackles I've seen.

Whilst agreeing that it was a bad tackle, I certainly don't think that it was deliberate or that any malice was intended.
I have watched the replay several times, and the only thing that Martin Taylor is guilty of, is nothing more than a mistimed tackle.
If you look at the footage you will notice that there is no running in with studs showing, the injury happened from a standing tackle.
I am also pleased to hear that Arsene Wenger has retracted his initial statement saying that Martin Taylor should be banned for life, said in the heat of the moment when emotions were running high.
I wish Eduardo well and I'm sure that it wont be too long before he is playing again.....I hope so anyway.

I'm not suggesting Martin Taylor deliberately broke De Silva's leg, Jamrie. I would suggest that he wanted to hobble him for the remainder of the game. I'll happily admit I'm no expert but that was my take on it.

The way i saw it the studs WERE on show, so to me that means a bit of hurt was going to take place whatever.
Ban Taylor with no pay for the rest of the season at the least.
