A Scottish cyclist has won a gold medal on the first day of the Paralympics -
Aileen McGlynn, 35, who is registered blind, successfully defending her women's 1 km tandem time trial title and breaking her own world record.
Swimmer Jim Anderson, from Fife, won silver in the S2 200m freestyle - the 14th Paralympic medal of his career.
