I haven't been following the US election very closely especially since it seems to be degenerating into a battle of celebrities rather than any discussion of policies.

and at least it actually highlights Sarah Palin's record. The email scandal appears to be an attempt to avoid scrutiny of official business. But again its hard to know for sure.

Ms Palin makes much of her belief in the sanctity of life. This might be genuine or just a sop to the loony bible bashers who make up much of the Republican Party. However a picture of her posing with a hunting rifle and a large dead moose gave lie to her claim. Moose don't vote of course.
