Here's a quick guide to some of the menu items on the Board

My Profile : allows you to change the way and the threads are presented and their order. It also allows you to add a sig and to change contact details

Show Latest Posts: self explanatory, but gives you options for the period under review

Rules: again self-explanatory. Please try to abide by them

Help: the use of codes in the posts


Clicking on a user name (including your own) takes you to a Community Builder page. The Top Menu here allows you to

View your own profile: from then you can edit your own profile

Messages: send a message by e-mail or by PM to that user

Connections: link up with other users

Moderation: report that user (a tab which I hope will not be used often)

By using the tabbed lower section, you can also

send a quick message

link to their blog (if they have one)

view their connections

view their latest posts

When reading a post, you can give the writer karma points (or take them away) – just click on the karma+ or karma- buttons
