o.k. so I'm exaggerating but can't the threads that go on for more than 4 or 5 pages be locked? They always get on my flippin nerves. Who the heck reads a thread longer than that anyhoo? Not me that's for sure. Blummin stupid.

I dont think it`s that bad.The pages are quite short and you just have to click on the last page if you don`t want to read the whole thread.

On stevehoffman.tv's music forums, they've come to where they'll lock threads when they hit 1000 posts. If the subject is something popular (like, say, roiling against the bad, brickwalled mastering of Paul McCartney's new MEMORY ALMOST FULL CD) someone will start a new thread, retaining the title of the original one, suffixed 'part 2' or such like.

Time will tell if there will be a 'Hi Shy and Orkneygirl'-style thread here....I just wish this site loaded faster on my iMac with Opera!

I've seen more...I believe 72 to 73 pages was the last time I went there...
