she definitely is a special
baby!! My baby had his shots today.. he held up
for a while.. then he changed his mind. Its his
last shots and he doesnt want to be on my lap anymore..
its summertime and he wants to PLAY!!! Even if he has a doo doo
he rather run and play and hide than stop and be changed...
He wants to put up a fight and kick out of his diaper than sit and
be patient for me to wipe his bum.... He's an ornery cuss! But he is
a precious sweetie too!

One thing though boys are somewhat different when they grow up.
2 year old Sparky paid us a visit yesterday while his mum and dad did some shopping. Things went a little quiet at one point, and of course needed immediate investigation. There he was in the cloakroom, standing on the step stool, sink overflowing beautifully. Yanking the chortling miscreant out revealed some flood.
Girls Bigman do not do these things when they grow up.

Ah Doricman....They do worse...my daughter when she was 3 going on 4 decided to wash clothes...she did in the toilet and when she would loose the bar, she would get another and so on....and the she flushed...imagine water reaching the entrance of the livingroom (rug)...so squishing down the hallway I look into the bathroom and she just looking at it...

The bars of soap became bricks inside...could take them out and god knows what article went down the sewer...

Big Guy, thank you for small pleasures.. to see a baby again.. a wee one... its a treasure. I havent seen a small one in such a LONG time. I was afraid people done gave up on havin babies!

Lets see... Mine is smarting off and tellin me NO! with an evil ornery grin. Its always somethin he KNOWS he shouldnt do.. but he just enjoys my torment.
My daughter is in preschool and she LOVES IT!!!! She's a big girl now.. and she keeps showing me all the big things she can do and its a treat....most of the time. Really, its special to see her evolve within days and be a whole new self!! She no longer needs my help buckling her belts.. and zipping things.. she says NO, mom.. let ME do it...(tears) Ive been doin for so long.. its awkward not to. She talks my ear off about her day with such enthusiasm.. its a treat to hear it from 'her point of view'... its a treat to see her face glow with such excitement.

Maria.. i can attest to the toilet thing.. i dont know WHY they are always fascinated with the dirtiest places in the home... my goodness. if its not the toilet.. its the trash can... and... what is with the toothbrushes and toilets???? i just had to buy a whole new round of brushes AGAIN. and, i just remembered i have toothpaste rubbed all over my towel rack that i didnt get to yet. and... the animal cookie fight... and the cereal fight... and...the piles of school papers they treated me with today.... and the wrapping paper nightmare when they decided to get it out over the weekend(dont ask.) and... another round of dishes because of my canning freezing harvesting tirade in ma kitchen.... and the lil fuzzies that they drew out of my favorite couch when they pulled all the cushions off my couch.... and jumped on the stack. ag. its not good to think on it. Itll get done in good time. I just gotta pace myself and give them a rake and a trash can. give them cleaner and papertowel... and give them the look.


ahhh... a days worth done well!!!!
